Indoors, 2020

Indoors was created in 2020 during lockdown. It is a playful piece, created digitally with film maker Eve McConnachie, involving all the dancers of Scottish Ballet, each in their own homes.

I wanted to create something that was fun and accessible, that embraces opening doors to new possibilities. The restrictions of lockdown led to new creative opportunities, exploring the possibilities of dance and technology, bringing together 28 doors and 36 dancers and one mystery door...
